Sagrada Família

The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is the city's most impressive landmark. The cathedral was designed by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. It is characterised by its unique architecture, which is characterised by organic forms and religious symbols. The Sagrada Familia attracts millions of visitors from all over the world every year and with the Barcelona Pass you too can visit the cathedral.

With the Barcelona Pass you can choose between three variants:

  • Entrance to the Sagrada Família incl. audio guide
  • Entrance to the Sagrada Família incl. audio guide + access to the towers
  • Admission to the Sagrada Família incl. guided tour

Access to the towers of the Sagrada Familia makes the Barcelona Pass a little more expensive. The towers sell out faster than regular tickets. Choose a time slot when booking.

Please note that you can only listen to the audio guide on your mobile phone.

Park Güell in Barcelona is a magical place that celebrates the artistic genius of architect Antoni Gaudí. This unique park is an outstanding example of modernism. It impresses with ornate mosaics and colourful ceramic works that transport the visitor into a fairytale world.

With the Barcelona Pass you can choose between two variants:

  • Entrance ticket for Park Güell
  • Entrance ticket to Park Güell incl. guided tour

When booking, choose a time slot that suits your travel plans. You can also download an informative audio guide about Park Güell to your mobile phone.

Hop-on hop-off bus or Casa Batlló or La Pedrera

The hop-on/hop-off buses are a popular way to explore the sights of Barcelona. Passengers can hop on and off at various stops. You can reach the Sagrada Família, Park Güell and many other attractions.

With the Barcelona Pass you can use the hop-on/hop-off buses for at least 24 hours. Alternatively, the bus can be used for 48 hours. This makes the Barcelona Pass slightly more expensive.

There are two operators in Barcelona: Barcelona Bus Turístic and Barcelona City Tour. Please refer to the booking documents to find out which operator you can use.

If you don't want to use the buses, you can choose one of the following attractions:

  • La Pedrera
  • Casa Batlló

Barcelona audio guide

With the Barcelona Pass you have free access to an audio guide with information on over 100 sights in the city. Listen to interesting information and see matching pictures. To use the audio guide, you need to download the free POPGuide app.

Alternatives to the Barcelona Pass

The Barcelona Pass only includes three attractions and if you are not interested in one of them, the Barcelona Pass is not an option for you. However, Tiqets.com has several other combination tickets that are also attractive. Some of these include other attractions:

In addition, there is the official Barcelona Card, which allows you to use the city's public transport free of charge. In addition, many museums are included. We recommend the combination ticket Barcelona Card + Gaudí. This bundle includes tickets to Sagrada Família and Park Güell in addition to Barcelona Card.

Is the Barcelona Pass financially worth it?

The Barcelona Pass is a popular product, but is it also worth it financially? This is not an easy question to answer, because there are different prices for all attractions.

If you buy a ticket for the Sagrada Família on the official website, it costs 26,00 €. On external ticket platforms like Tiqets.com or GetYourGuide, the ticket costs 33,80 €. The same applies to Park Güell and there are also different prices for the hop-on/hop-off bus:

  • Sagrada Família: 26,00 – 33,80 €
  • Park Güell: 10,00 – 13,50 €
  • Park Güell audio guide: 3,50 €
  • 24 hrs Hop-on/Hop-off: 31,00 – 33,00 €
  • Barcelona audio guide: 9,50 €

Total: 80,00 – 93,30 €

Price of the Barcelona Pass: from EUR 85.00 for adults

Conclusion: If you want to buy all tickets as cheaply as possible, the Barcelona Pass is not suitable. In this case, buy all tickets individually on the official websites of the attractions. If, on the other hand, you want to buy all tickets conveniently on the international ticket platforms anyway, the Barcelona Pass is financially worthwhile.

Arguments against the Barcelona Pass

The Barcelona Pass from Tiqets.com is a very good product. Nevertheless, there are also arguments against the Barcelona Pass:

Few attractions: With the Barcelona Pass you can only visit two attractions and take a city tour. Other sightseeing passes for Barcelona have a wider range of services.

Limited availability: The Barcelona Pass can only be purchased if there are still free dates for the Sagrada Família and Park Güell. Especially the tour of the towers in the cathedral is often sold out early.

No financial savings: You do not save money with the Barcelona Pass. It is cheaper to buy all tickets individually on the official websites of the attractions. However, it is also more inconvenient.

Conclusion: For whom is the Barcelona Pass suitable?

Under the following circumstances, the Barcelona Pass may be suitable for your trip to Barcelona:

  • You will want to visit two of Gaudí's most important attractions: Sagrada Família and Park Güell.
  • You would like to use the hop-on/hop-off buses for one or two days.
  • It is enough for you to visit only the most important sights.
  • You are interested in the Barcelona audio guide to learn interesting information about the city.
  • You want to secure appointments to visit the sights immediately.
  • You would like to receive all tickets conveniently by e-mail or app.
